French Horn Lessons - Lynnwood/Edmonds

Description:
I teach a limited number of students at all ages and levels. I have 20 years of teaching and coaching experience. I have a Master's of Music degree in Performance from University of Michigan, Bachelor of Music cum laude at University of the Pacific, Conservatory. Former students have gone on to study music at prestigious music schools, including Eastman, UCLA, and have gotten accepted to All State honor bands, and area youth symphonies in both California and Washington. Adult students also come back after many years of not playing to meet their goals of performing with community ensembles.

Every student is unique and lessons are catered to the individual. An important part of playing a brass instrument is basic technique. We work on warm ups and exercises appropriate to the level and experience of the individual to enhance the student's performance ability and level of playing. Music theory is discussed and explained as necessary within the lesson for a greater understanding.

My rates are flexible depending upon length and regularity of lessons. Please contact me for more information.
